Heard good things but I had a very miserable experience involving a child custody case. I was charged a pretty high amount due to the case being 2 months away but during those 2 months there was barely any contact until a week leading up to the court date. I did so much leg work and paperwork to prepare my case and the entire time I felt like she didn’t take my case with sincerity or really grasp my situation and what kind of mother I was dealing with. On the court date she persuaded me to settle with the other party on a schedule that was completely jacked up and didn’t advise me that I would actually be losing twice as much time with my son. That is not why I hired an attorney, I hired an attorney to protect myself and son to make sure I’m understanding what I’m agreeing to but was greeted with very unfortunate circumstances as a result. A mess just got messier. She was able to place my case back on the docket instead of an appeal but near the next court date she unexpectedly dropped my case (even gave me the wrong court date in a letter) and I was left without a lawyer. So when I did retain a lawyer who I believed could handle my case it was too late as the judge denied continuance even based on the circumstances beyond of my control. After the hearing I was shredded to pieces by the mothers lawyer, I had no choice but to present myself in the court room and I’m not a good speaker as it is and don’t understand much court terminology. I walked out feeling so angry and sad that this happened to me. To be honest I hate to write this review as I’m sure Kelli is probably a good person at heart, I saw glimpses but I don’t want what happened to me happen to any other good hearted Dad or parent that only has the best interest of their child. This is not an attack on Kelli or to smear her name but if you are thinking of going with her make sure she will be able to handle your case like an attorney should. Lawyers aren’t cheap and you certainly don’t need to pay thousands only for your situation to get worse. The secretary was always nice and courteous but I really don’t have many positive things to say other than that.
