I have been using Richard for my custody case. I have had multiple attorneys over the last 4 years and Richard has easily been the best. I always feel like I will get a straight answer with him. He’s not concerned about billable hours as he is with doing the right thing by his client. I know when I go into court I feel confident that I am being well represented. I feel very fortunate that my prior attorney was able to help me work with Richard.
My wife and I called Richard to ask some legal advice on contracts, After my wife told him about our situation, he then went on a 10 minute tirade about making sure to send emails confirming conversations on the phone, during that time we tried to asking a question but he ignored us and kept talking, once he did stop talking, I was able to asked him a simple question about contracts trying to get him back on subject, in which he responded “I guess you are a better lawyer then me”, My wide and I tried to tell him that I was just trying to ask asking a question on the law, but instead of listing to us he just sarcastically said “good luck with that” and then hung up on us. It was the rudest conversation with any lawyer I have ever had. I guess he doesn’t like answering questions.
Richard contacted me shortly after I posted my traffic case on Nolo. After hearing the details of my case, he explained that I may not need to hire a lawyer although he could simply get my money. He was patient and explained what are my options over the phone. I went to court and managed to lower the ticket. Although I didn’t end up hiring him and went to the court myself (this was what he recommended), his professional behavior and patience in hearing my case and explaining the options were very helpful.
