If I could put “0” stars, I would have. This “attorney” was appointed as guardian ad listen in a child custody case recently. I use the word in quotes as she did a horrible job representing our kids’ interests. She specifically omitted from her report our information and evidence that the children were being exposed to illicit substances in the custody of their father. She ignored facts supporting allegations of violence and threats made by the father. She was very cavalier with information and made numerous factual misrepresentations tending to benefit the father. We both work very hard and do fairly well for ourselves. This GL, however, was more concerned with detracting from us as parents and as a couple than in attempting to determine what is in the best interest of the children. She acted as if she was an attorney working for the lying, criminal father. She is not a trustworthy arbitrator of any important business! If you can avoid doing business with this woman, do yourself a favor right now and FIND A DIFFERENT ATTORNEY. I feel bad for anyone forced to have to work with this woman due to budget or circumstance. Luckily, we were able to hire a real attorney to represent our children and received a fair judgement that was literally the OPPOSITE of what Ms. Hamlet recommended to the court. Terrible lawyer with questionable judgment! You have been warned!!
