Would NOT recommend as a Divorce lawyer, felt unprofessional in the sense that when she learned that it would not be a cut and dry division of marriage/property she no longer wanted to represent me. Appears to be only looking for EASY money. She only returned a portion of my retainer after deducting a fee for drafting a single document that was never filed. In bad situation she made things worst.
I went to Debra’s office to sign my will on three occasions. Each time, proper procedure was not followed in regards to the signing of my will, making my will null and void. Since my will was still not valid after three attempts due to witnesses not properly witnessing and signing, I would not recommend Debra Needs. I found her cavalier attitude towards following proper procedure with my will extremely concerning and hired another attorney to properly and legally handle my estate planning after paying Debra Needs. I also found her interpretations of the law and her answers to questions and concerns incorrect.
