Ryan Rogers with this firm sued us for someone else’s accident. There is no chance his client benefits from his carelessness. Someone then aggressively pursued serving us with the lawsuit while our young daughter was at home with a babysitter. We had to rush home, ruining our night in the middle of dinner. Didn’t get to eat but had to pay for it. We were extremely stressed with this woman aggressively banging on the door, looking through the windows, taking pictures of our mail for 15 minutes. Our daughter and the babysitter hid in the house. We did not know what the lawsuit was all about until we got the papers a few days later. We spent a lot of time with our insurance responding to the lawsuit. There was no recourse for this. Not even an apology from this firm. I think they are horrible people and the quality of their work is poor.
I recommend going with a smaller firm. My attorney has avoided and dodged me and my mother’s call. Paralegals, have told us our attorney “has a big case load”. I went with Godsey—Martin because of their silver tongue radio ads about the mistreatment of black women.
They did not settle my case for over a year. I was sitting at a red light and hit from behind. I went through therapy I could have done at home. In the end I get about 4% of the entire money. By taking a year, it put me without a vehicle and money gave couldn’t replace my 13 yr old vehicle totaled in the wreck. Shysters. Just deal with insurance directly but don’t use “I just Got Hit” because they take their sweet time and never itemized anything,
