Pettis Jim C, an attorney based in Shawnee, Oklahoma, has received mixed reviews from clients regarding his legal services. While some clients appreciate his genuine approach and knowledge of the law, noting that he and his staff are impressive and helpful, others express frustration over communication issues and a lack of follow-through on cases. Overall, it seems that while there are positive experiences with Jim’s legal expertise, concerns about responsiveness and client care persist among some clients.
Jim is very comfortable in his career and is not worried about taking care of his new clients. We’ve given this man about 7000 dollars if not more and haven’t gotten anywhere. He will not call you back for months on end and will keep anything that’s left of your retainer. When we fired him we were told they would send a check in the mail. Of course we knew better. I also went to his office to pick up my kiddo from my husband and the first thing out of this man’s mouth was “He didn’t tell me he got you out of a supermodel catalog.” In my opinion Jim is a very slimy man who should not be aloud to practice law. I’m only sharing our experience so other people know to STAY AWAY.
He took my sons 4000 dollars on a child custody case and absolutely did nothimg never went to court or anythimg. Did not refund any money so a year later my son paid another attourney Josh Pyron from seminole.and within 5 months he was getting to see his children. I DO NOT recommend this attourney for anything.
Do not use this office they tell you things are gonna do and they never do it. You leave messages now for return phone calls. They never do even if you do an email to them stay away from them. They take your money and then when their money is gone, they drop you and tell you they’re withdrawing.
