Marissa Washington specifically is the person that mishandled this claim… DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! My vehicle was struck by a city trash truck on 1/11/24 and since it is a “city vehicle”, the claim goes under my insurance. So in the process of getting things settled with the city I got 2 separate estimates for repairs that both totalled between $6000-7000 but when it came time to get an estimate from progressive their repairs only totalled $3300. That’s the first thing that I found to be off about this interaction with Marissa. The next thing that through me off was that she told me on multiple occasions that this incident was going to be covered under my ” underinsured/ uninsured” motorist insurance which has a deductable of $250 and when I finally got my check, I was charged the full amount of my comprehensive insurance deductable which is $1500. After repeated attempts to contact Marissa, her exact reasoning behind running it through my comprehensive insurace was that ” her boss told her to do it that way” I told her that I would like that reasoning in writing and now after multiple failed attempts to contact her I haven’t received her reasoning in writing or a response at all. Need in mind that this happened six months ago.
