My experience was a nightmare. Completely lost it in front of the judge. Talked a good game until it got down to the court date. Got in front of the judge and stuttered and stalled, making me look like a fool in front of the judge and the defendant. Despite the judges multiple requests for evidence to support my case, she failed to present any of the stack of evidence that I supplied to her at her request. It seems she felt arguing with the judge and repeating herself over and over would have a better outcome. She failed to file the child support motion that I paid her to do. Almost a month later and I still haven’t received a copy of the court order from her, an itemized bill, or any of my documents. She hasn’t responded to a certified letter requesting her response within two weeks, and seems to have no interest in getting back with me via email, phone call, or any other method. As of right now Ive had to retain new counsel to handle the situation regarding my case, and now will be taking Melissa to court as well if she continues to illegally hold my documents. I would not recommend her to anyone.
