I contacted Erykah recently to get information regarding my rights concerning an employment issue I’ve experienced not too long ago. During our brief conversation, she indirectly accused me of having a criminal background just because I told her that a company rescinded my job offer suddenly and I wanted to find out the reason why. I was beyond shocked that a lawyer would act this way towards a potential client and this was highly unprofessional of her to even think this and then express her irrational views to a client…Especially when I told her beforehand during our conversation, that there would be nothing preventing me from obtaining employment regarding my background check. I won’t be using her in the future if any issues arise nor will I recommend this law firm to any of my family and friends.
I do recommend Arykah Trabosh. She was honest and straight forward. She works with your budget and with your fixed agreement. Even though DOL kept changing ‘areas of concern’ , (causing more rework and prep) she continued to support me through it and kept to the financial and support agreement. This was critical as I had contacted another lawyer previously and they wanted an open-ended retainer which I could not afford (pay as the hours rack up) . In my case it would have cost me most of what I tried to gain. She really put her best self to support you. I am forever grateful. I recommend that the coaching should be one day in advance so you have time to digest the content prep. I am not used to this stuff, so during the Tribunal she did step in as allowable by law. I am grateful for her knowledge and expertise in the DOL Tribunal Appeal case. And yes, she did win the appeal. You have my utmost thanks and gratitude. Relief.
