Roseann and Lauren were super helpful with my dire situation. ten years ago bought a house and my attorney used Direct title company for owner’s title insurance policy. apparently they told my attorney between closing and recording of deed that there was a judgement against somebody with similar name as me, for which I had to sign an affidavit proving that judgement was not against me. they repeatedly reached out to my attorney to obtain this affidavit but my attorney did nothing to reach me and that judgement ended up on my exclusion of coverage. so back to present, while trying to close on sale of house, the buyer’s title underwriter becomes very suspicious of this judgement and refused to close on the house unless that exclusion of coverage is taken off the policy. that in itself was weird to me, but underwriter is insisting it must be taken off to proceed. I frantically emailed for help to Direct Title, and didn’t expect anybody to call me so quickly. the next business day, Roseann gave me a call and said she would take off that judgement from the policy stat, as long as I provided affidavit.. I was blown away. Lauren (paralegal) at office was also helpful and suggested I should just come when I told her I would get my paperwork notarized before stopping by. she said she would notarize for me to make the journey one stop. to me it was such a thoughtful gesture. And as soon as I got it notarized, within the hour, Roseann emailed me that judgment had been removed from the policy. that proof saved me from having to put money on escrow and I was able to sell the house the very next day. I am just so grateful that Roseann and Lauren helped me so quickly.. Thank you Roseann and Lauren!!
They are a disgrace!!!!!!!They did our closing on our house and failed to get our escrow money back that was due to us. We had to go to court with the buyers of our house!! JACOB ELKES is a millionaire and owns half of Freehold Township, but yet rips off all of his customers to make money for himself. Him and Margorie Morris are in it together and neglect all of their customers!! He still owes us $5000.00!!!! He is a big scam artist, but yet a millionaire!!
After reading all the horrible reviews I still have this guy a chance. Just like all the other comments said run! He doesn’t respond to emails, doesn’t call back, was condescending over the phone as well. Gave him my Paperwork needed to start my closing and never started it. It’s sad that he’s even listen as a Available attorney for the CGP. Waste of time.
