First hired when i was a new father. My mother’s daycare parent referred him. He educated me on what was going on throughout the custody process and was able to successfully settle in mediation. He would be an intimidating attorney to go up against because of his immediate knowledge, he’s always responded reasonably quick, and is confident without seeming arrogant. It has been a few years since i had his counsel, but i worked with him on the same custody case a few different times to increase my parenting time, modify my sons surname, and his school district location. Other modifications unmentioned as well, but those were the issues important to me. I obtained my own personal loan from my bank for the retainer fee, and found myself paying it back quickly after being able to claim my son on taxes. Because i picked Russ to bat for me, i was able to form one of the strongest father-son relationships possible that lasted for 10 years. Not having Russ on my case last year caused me to fall victim to a bunch of shit, and i no longer have custody at all because i did not respond promptly to the opposing parties perjury. I made many incorrect moves on my own, and i seriously recommend hiring a lawyer even if you have been through a custody battle because it is worth every penny to have someone on your team if they end up playing hardball in court. The legal system is confusing, a judge can decide whatever they feel is best so do not take the same risk i did even if you’re also innocent against malicious claims you will actually need help proving it. I was under the impression innocent until proven guilty, but in custody you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent if they file an ex-parte. Hire Russ you wont regret it.
