Never have I seen such corruption in my life stay as far away as possible… I would give Marie negative stars if I could. She mediated between my ex-husband and I… She was supposed to be my lawyer looking out for my best interest, but She allowed him to act as his own lawyer and charged me for his questions to her… she should have filed a motion to get me my divorce done as soon as my ex didn’t have a lawyer and was representing himself, but instead, she claimed that the reason that the divorce didn’t happen was because I wanted custody time to change, which I was allowed to do that in mediation… it was a cover-up and an excuse, not to go through with the divorce…In theory she was representing me, but talking to my ex answering his questions and making me pay for it… I had to pay out my ex to retain the home so that I can have a roof over my head. My dad paid thousands of dollars to my ex, before the judgement of divorce…if I had gone to court my dad wouldn’t have had to pay out $35,000 to my ex for me to have a roof over my head…I would’ve been better off representing myself and yet I paid her thousands of dollars to represent me… did she do anything? No, I’m not even divorced, and she’s forcing me to take down this review or she won’t file and get my divorce done… I’m broke raising two kids, barely making ends meet because of her and yet I still owe her more money for the questions, my ex asked her to answer. She also breached confidentiality, which could make her lose her license if I were to prosecute. Instead, I’m just putting up a really bad review, hoping that it steers others away from her corruption and messing up other people‘s divorces. Thanks to her. I owe her tons of money might not get back my retainer and I’m not even divorced. If I can save others from the headache and the corruption that follows her then this review is worth it. Getting a divorce is probably the hardest thing in life and the last thing needed is a corrupt lawyer to take your money and not even get the job done.
