Lisa was cold and condescending from the start in my case. But her Attorney’s Assistant who I mostly dealt with gave me hope. Months into it Lisa fired him and didn’t inform me. When asked to come in to look over my affidavit Lisa put her partner on this. Ms. Veronica Stachurski who is a complete 180 on her approach. As we went over things Lisa rudely was shouting from her office in such a way it was nerve racking. The affidavit Lisa prepared was completely off what the assistant and I discussed. Ms. Veronica Stachurski was the last bit of hope I had. She is very pleasant and professional. Lisa charged me another 1000 dollars to rewrite my affidavit. When it was mailed I didn’t even read it a second time. Scared of how much money it would cost to go any further… $10,000 dollars to be treated insignificant and end up walking out and away.
The person doing my 30 minutes phone screen came off unfriendly & rude.
A referral was sent to Lisa’s office from another lawyer. I was at work when I got the call instead of leaving a message her office called back a 2nd time immediately after the first call then left a message. So instantly I was annoyed by the double phone call. Then I called this office back and gave the information verifying who I was. unaware of what was happening I was sent directly to Lisa’s extension. She came on the phone guns blazing not understanding the situation at all. She didn’t even introduce herself right away. She would not give me a moment to explain anything to her. Apparently she thought we wanted to hire her…that couldnt have been further from the truth. She is very condescending, talking to me as if I was stupid like I was gum under her shoe. I tried to explain what I was looking for she interrupted me yet again with such a attitude. I then told her I didn’t like her attitude and I would find someone else. Its funny how all I wanted was to talk with someone to get a little off the record advice. What’s funnier is never in all my years have I been treated that way when just trying to ask a question and get an opinion of a lawyer. I may not have a degree but I do understand quite a bit of the law so wanting to confirm the research I have done was my goal. Sometimes you have to know when to retire and This woman has such a nasty attitude just in the 2 min I was on the phone with her maybe she should consider it. Very unprofessional!
