Terry is not a good attorney at all. Very unorganized and unprofessional and his only interest is how much he can bill you. His office manager (his wife) is rude, money hungry, untrustworthy, a liar and thinks she’s a lawyer when she gives legal advice. Terry would be better served if he was the greeter at the local Walmart. To sit in the office and listen to his wife they are millionaires and live like kings. She can’t stop talking about the “lake house” that ended up being a trailer parked on a manmade lake in Durand Mi. It’s a far cry from a “lake house”. The cold hard facts are they will say or do whatever is necessary to get money from you or make money off you. You have so many other choices for attorneys in the area but Terry Bankert should be towards the bottom of your list. If you think he’s going to fight for you or have your back then your going to get a wake up call if you hire him. Let me be clear, the lack of him doing his job won’t reflect on his billing. I truly believe his wife sits around and tries to figure out what she can add to the clients invoices before she goes home for the day.
