He did the bare minimum for my father’s bankruptcy and after my mom passed did nothing to help my dad file a hardship with the loss of her income. When asked why he didn’t file a suggestion of death for my mother his response was that he didn’t know he needed to. He would go weeks in between getting back to my dad, saying he’d been busy. He left my dad to live on $800 a month for months without trying to help him or give him any sound advice. He wanted my dad to get a loan with someone he works with. We had to get advice from a different attorney and had to file the suggestion of death for my mom and a dismissal of the case on our own. Peter definitely made sure to charge my dad for every time he did talk to him, even though Peter never did anything to help. He’s a horrible lawyer and a worse human.
We purchased an out of state business and moved it to Michigan. Mr. Mooney drafted all the legal documents for this complicated purchase. He was timely and was always available for questions.
