Asked Brian for some help with a real estate matter on August 21, 2024. He responded via email on August 22 stating that he believed we have a case and needed to look at documents. On August 23, I forwarded documents and he responded with telling me about a similar successful case he had where the defendants were located in Seattle which gave us additional hope. On August 29, I emailed him again that we had not heard from him as to the next step. We then spoke on the phone on or about August 30 about moving forward and he said he would send a retainer letter. Things got busy for us because my husband’s sister was in the final stages of cancer but then on October 22, 2024, I emailed Brian that we were still waiting for the retainer letter. He responded on 10/23 stating that he would re-send the retainer letter which we never received in the first place and I checked spam as well. All correspondences from him have always been received except for the retainer letter. I never received it. At that point, I thought he just doesn’t want to do this work and the kind and professional thing would be to tell me that. We spoke at length on the phone in August and it sounded as if he was taking on this matter on our behalf. So on February 26, I emailed him again and told him that we are assuming he no longer is interested in helping us. The sad thing is that the statute has run on at least two of the issues and possibly all of the issues. Brian never responded to my February 26 email. I find this lack of consideration and professionalism extremely disappointing especially since (1) a friend of mine who knows him and is a patent and trademark attorney, referred us to him; and (2) he had other good reviews. Just tell me if you are not interested. Be professional. I have told my friend to never refer anyone else to this firm again and my friend was also disappointed in the way we were ignored.
Very happy with Brian. He is very detailed oriented and organized and looked over documents throughly. He answered every question we had and helped us though the process. Highly recommended!!!
Very detailed and helpful
