Wow, I couldn’t express how disappointed I am. When I had my intro call, they expressed I shouldn’t even use up all of my retainer, they were very kind and I was hopeful for a positive experience in my divorce. I have an easy divorce case in the scheme of things; no kids, we liquidated our property and mutual assets. This was coming to a payment of alimony and division of 401k, which was frankly overcomplicated by the end of this. His attorney already had drafted a separation agreement to work off of. I work park time and just recently started a business that is not seeing a ton of profit yet. They spent two hours on the phone with me to get all the details of my financials after I sent them all of the information, and she redlined the draft agreement. This was followed by weeks of redundant questioning, requests for redundant transactions, all of which they obviously I was charged for. I had to explicitly write in emails that they need to stop emailing me for redundant information, as we spoke at length and there needs to be internal conversation. The para explained that they are “just very busy right now”, but again still charging me. I was shocked when they requested an additional near $100 charge as well as an additional $3,000 for a divorce in which was likely one of the simpler cases they have. Their disorganization, lack of communication, and overuse of their requests for details runs up your charges. I responded by text, call, and email to this request and noted how the managed me, and I didn’t even hear back from them. Sad to say this didn’t work out, costed me more money than it should ever have (per our initial conversation, they agreed), and all I received out of it is the short financial form completed. The fact they couldn’t even respond to me after acknowledging their lack of communication and repeating they are just “really busy” screams volumes.
Having obtained a great result in my case, I would strongly recommend Ms. Weberg on any criminal matter. She is kind and knowledgeable, and I felt very well represented from beginning to end. Thank you Kristin!
Kristin Weberg represented me in what is called a “contentious divorce” for just over a year in 2021-2022. I’m forever grateful to her and her whole team. When I called her that first time, I told her what sounded like an outrageous story. I was in the death throes of an abusive marriage and the deck was squarely stacked against me. She believed me and agreed to represent me. She assisted me navigate an escape from my abuser. When we had to appear in court her professionalism & preparation were unmatched. She successfully petitioned the court to make accommodations so that he couldn’t intimidate me. She left no stone unturned. We were successful in completing the divorce with a fair and favorable outcome. Her office as a whole undertook a considerable amount of work on my behalf while at the same time helping to ensure my safety. You can expect to be treated with kindness and dignity. It’s so hard to write this because how do you properly explain someone completely going to the line for you in a few sentences? I think the best way to sum it up is this. You want Kristin on your side in the courtroom. If you have the chance to work with her. Run don’t walk.
