As prospective tenants, we worked with Alison Freeborn to finalize a commercial lease using language that was convincing of our desired terms and which ensured we were reasonably protected. She did so well in meeting these objectives that the landlord immediately accepted without further remarks. But most importantly, we found Alison’s genuine empathy, kind demeanor, intelligence, and exceptional communication to be far above what we found during our two-week search for a quality lawyer (20+ law firms were called). No ghosting, no feather fluffing, no runarounds. When we first called her office to inquire about services and availability, the receptionist handed Alison the phone in which Alison made quick work of assessing our needs and then was able to say that she could meet our tight deadline (36 business hours). All of this done on the spot without red tape and posturing. We entrusted her right away and she delivered an outcome that fit our needs exactly with what was a fair fee. We never felt like her needs, whether money or emotionally related, came before ours. We will be partnering with Alison again for sure. 10/10.
