A non-profit law firm and community education organization helping low and moderate income people in Kansas
Kansas Legal Services in Topeka, Kansas, offers assistance in Civil Law, Elder Law, and Employment Law, but experiences vary widely among clients. While some reviewers highlight their patience and helpfulness in explaining complex legal matters, others express frustration with the lack of representation and communication. Overall, it seems that those who received support found the service beneficial, appreciating the guidance provided, even if the organization faced challenges in meeting all clients’ needs.
I was actually accepted and awarded a lawyer. We spoken on the phone even… I gave him very detailed information about my divorce case he said everything looked fine all to send me a letter Monday saying they changed their minds and are only gonna give me advice on how to file. That was definitely detrimental and not what I wanted to hear after telling me I had representation. Men have to prove they’re worthy to have their own kids even when they are present and it shouldn’t be that way!!!!
They were extremely helpful. They explained a lot of the things I did not understand. They answered all my questions and were extremely patient and supportive in helping me.
They don’t even deserve that star. They are unprofessional will turn off their phone and avoid all calls. Act like they don’t have the resources for cases that they get grants for. Ask for the secretary/manager she acts like she runs the place
