Calvin Karlin helped us write our wills and he was very thorough, did a great job, and was very friendly. If I ever need a lawyer in the future he would be my first call.
I was treated poorly for having little to no experience working with lawyers and cost or charges for service. I would not recommend this man. He was extremely rude and not professional when asked questions about his billing.
I am not sure if I would use Calvin Karlin. Me and my boyfriend was referred to him by another attorney for my boyfriend ‘s mother’s estate and when my boyfriend started asking questions about fees and when fees are paid which is general questions people ask when hiring an attorney and if you are relaying information to other family members that are also paying for it. Mr. Karlin stated that he was nervous about handling the case in regards of payment and referred us to another law firm. Not sure if he is “a professional ” or not. Most attorneys would of asked a question before jumping to conclusions as such.
