Chose this firm for an ugly custody battle. Billie Jo was the attorney used. She would charge upwards to $3,000 every month when seemingly NO work was being done. She appeared once. She would say things like “I researched this while I was off but don’t worry I won’t charge”. The law firm would charge our account without any warning. She also failed to provide a receipt of you will each month with what we were charged with. Upwards to $20,000.00 in and she still requested $6,000.00 more to “get through” mediation. I would believe every person who rated this firm as a “one” star. They are secretive, they are scammers, and they are money hungry.
Be warned, they lie about pricing to get you in, they charge you a lot at the end.
I am rating this firm 1 star because after almost a year and over $30,000 in fees, they offered me nothing but unbelievable charges to revised documents, to say your staff is incompetent to get the documents right the first time, instead I am billed several different time for revisions. Not to mention the numerous billings for emails, if you are to reply “ok and thank you!” You will be billed about $85 each time. This is a clear example why people do not trust lawyers. They are unethical to say the least! If you make six figures a year and want to throw away your money then by all means hire this firm, but if you are a normal guy who is fighting to see his kids the only thing this firm will do for you is bleed you dry. You will be broke before you ever see your kids again. This firm is not made of compassionate people who want to help you. All they care about is billable hours!
