Mr. Bettencourt and his staff do very poor quality work and when you ask him to do something for you on your case he flat out says “NO”. I had to revise every document that came through for review. It was either wrong or had a lot of mistakes. Trust me, there are better attorneys in the SLO area to choose from. Do not choose Mr. Bettencourt. Worst attorney I have ever dealt with and I worked with attorneys all my life. He’s lazy and non-responsive and he lies. Just trust me — stay away if you want a good attorney. He is cheaper than most, but I guess you do get what you pay for……. sadly! Stay away if you value your case. Pay a little more and get an attorney that sincerely cares about your case and is willing to bend over backwards to help you. It was like pulling teeth to get anything out of him and his staff. Bad with a capital “B”.
