Ms. Beatriz Pelayo Gracia was assigned to my minor child and then was transferred to Katherine Weaver. As an non custodial parent it was very difficult not be able to see your child and as well their wellbeing. I couldn’t even see how my child was doing during covid. I felt like they did not represent my child they represent the custodial parent. They made it difficult for me to obtain records where I still had legal custody of the child. My child is finally eighteen and still is not talking to me because she says that I didn’t try to reach her however I did. If the courts every assign your child to Ms. Beatriz and her staff. Just beware. They will do little to nothing to grant you and child reunification. I also blame Pasadena City Court for how they handle my child case and how the promote parent alienation. It’s disgusting that this is going on in family court. Children are not for profit.
I can tell you from personal experience. She is not only a great person but also she is a shark in the court room. I had a tough fight with my divorce, but she would always go to court ready to fight. We finally got what we wanted from the beginning, there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
Ms Pelayo-Garcia was assigned by the court to represent my minor child in custody case.
They charged me 7000 dollars for simple divorce job ,took 9 months still not in progress so I found some other lawyer for 500 to finished job for me

If you’re looking for an honest compassionate attorney who’s going to really fight for you and do the utmost of her ability this is the one. She got me through a very stressful difficult divorce and custody case and I actually just consulted with her regarding a case for my adult daughter. She’s truly wonderful and well worth every penny you’re going to spend for her time and expertise.
It’s not the same as it use to be these new attorneys that work for her firm just roll over take your money and don’t represent or fight for you
Mrs. Garcia helped me finalize a divorce that had taken way too long to complete because I went with a well known paralegal franchise at the time who cashed my check for fees and cost of divorce but never filed my case and lost all the paperwork. What took the paralegal office two and a half years to get no where, Beatrice met with me quickly, filed my case and got me divorced quickly with no additional complications. I’m grateful for her help during a very stressful time.
They just want your money and make it seem like they care. Plus charge $100 for consultation.

STAY AWAY!…THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL “ATTORNEY” EVERR!!! I i have been trying to get in contact w this person since October of 2018 and not a single call back from her or her office regarding my child custody case. I had realized that something was wrong when i had gone to pick up my daughter for my planned schedule of the holidays and the mother did not show. So i call the mother to find out what was going on and she said that there was no finalized court order that she had to give her to me for the holidays. I then go to the courthouse thinking maybe i did something wrong but come to realize that beatriz hadnt submitted some finalized writings which was HER job in order for me have my child for the holidays. I now have missed thanksgiving, xmas, new years, my bday, and probably now her bday with the way things are going. I cant stress enough how unhappy and unprofessional this women is, and the lack of caring and concern for ones life reagarding the children. I want to write so much more but i simply dont have the time. Take my word…stay….away.
