I called Ivan & Associates to schedule a consultation because my landlord refused to resolve the issue of second hand smoke per another tenant smoking marijuana. I advised my landlord that the smoke was coming into my unit and it was all over my clothes and hair, and I even told her my employer gave me a random drug test because they thought I was a smoker, and my landlord still did nothing. So, I posted a Google review in NOVEMBER 2024, and even mentioned how my landlord demanded that I still continue to pay the rent. (By the way, I’m an ESSENTIAL WORKER!!) This has been going on since August 2024. My consultation was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, but no one ever called me. After waiting 15 minutes, I called the law firm and someone told me they’d simply take a message. It is very suspicious that the very next day I got hit with a Cease and Desist from my property’s law firm. Wait a minute: my first complaint about the second hand marijuana was in August (5 months ago), and the day AFTER my scheduled consultation with a law firm I received a Cease and Desist. Do you honestly think I’m too stupid to realize wtf is going on? It is now Sunday, January 12th the I STILL HAVEN’T HEARD FROM IVAN & ASSOCIATES. #suspicious
