My experience with Katie Crow was borderline criminal. Do not use this woman as a GAL. She did not hold justice in my case. She recommended my ex to take my children. This man is a master manipulator, alcoholic and cannabis user, but she thought he was fit to raise two small children. She never asked me any follow up questions or did a investigation. Not once did she bother discover the truth about the awful allegations against me. She denied my kids counseling even after all the trauma they have experienced. I honesty do not understand how she still has a license in Alabama her behavior, blows my mind and I’m a professional in this community!
She did not represent me, however she was completely bias and does not have the best interest of children.. she had never spoken to my daughter in my home or while she was in my custody.. my daughters dad found her in 2014 and he basically had his attorney and her as well.. I believe to truly know what the best interest of a child is you have to see her in both homes. Not make assumptions that one is better than the other. A child needs both parents and its clear that in her eyes she picks a side and let’s that cloud her judgment. I have put up with her for 7 years! So I know what I’m talking about. Update: 8 years and counting! And she’s still as bias as they come. It should be clear if a man calls dhr and all are non indicated they shouldn’t get their child because clearly they are unstable, but in lee county that’s the best interest of the child.
Katie was very helpful and was very professional. I was pleased on how fast my divorce was.
