Amazingly frustrating to work with if you are a man in a difficult divorce. She is unwilling to represent someone facing false accusations but will take your case (and your money) regardless. I had my ex-wife’s personal notes and many recorded conversations showing how I was being threatened with false accusations for years. It had a severe impact on my mental health. I also had good documentations of my ex working with her friend and colluding to do the same thing with her ex-husband. They both had an attorney more than willing to allow them to go forward. J Lawrence just leaned back and let them do it. She just does not care enough to do anything but the status quo in those situations. Stay far away if you are a man in one of these types of divorces, which are very common now. The courts know it (J-law doesn’t get that though). The cherry on top was an agreement where even though things were 45-55 parenting time with my ex, she gets the child tax credit every year but doesn’t have to include it in my support calculations (unless I file another expensive lawsuit to fix it)
Did not return messages for months. Ended up quitting on our case. Has a female gender bias in my opinion. Perjured her self in court claiming I did not pay her retainer despite having a receipt to the contrary. She is anti-male according to my attorneys. Make sure she does not get appointed to your case as parenting coordinator if you are male.
