I reiterate – Do to hire Heidi Friedman Esq. I retained her for my elderly parents. She left my father destitute due and my mother in concerning situations. Her advice did not take into account his needs, health issues or anything else. Her fee was $10,500 (minimally) she barely met with my father. He has many needs- because of her work my father was battling for the last year to restore his rights. She left him out of the process, lost documents, was unbearable to deal with, made misrepresentations with little effort in review or correcting the mistakes and allowed undue influence to take place. Do not let her spin facts about any decisions about her practice or recommendations for spousal refusal- do your research before you take her advice- better yet- do not retain her. She was forced to remove and amend her comment to this post after she posted personal information about the facts of my families’ matters which violates rules governing attorneys. Her mishandling has been destructive over the course of years. My family was saddled with the awesome burden of repairing the harm for what she and her staff did and years later my family is still experiencing the effects.She retained an attorney to file multiple documents to defend herself when the evidence was and continues to be overwhelmingly not in her favor due to her poor representation. As an attorney who represents and advocates for individuals in need, I owe it to the public- do not hire Heidi Friedman Esq of Elder Law.
