Christian County Atty Child Su in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, offers a mix of experiences for those seeking legal assistance in family law matters. While some reviewers express frustration with delays and communication issues, many commend the professionalism and helpfulness of case workers like Hailey, who is noted for her accessibility and dedication to resolving issues. Overall, the office is recognized for its clean environment and friendly staff, though there are calls for improved respect and understanding towards noncustodial parents.
Turned in a judge signed court order to lower my child support over two months ago. Two months later it isn’t changed, and they are holding close to $3,000 of my money in a hold account. My sons mother originally filed that I never have our son even though we split him 3 and a half days each and every week. Went to court and my child support was dropped from $560 per month to $120. Tammy (one of the case workers) says it takes months to get these things changed. I Called Hopkins County office and they said, “it should take no more than week to adjust with a judge signed order.” They keep pulling $300 per check for one child from me and shoving it in a holding account, telling me “Oh you’ll get it back it once this is figured out.” It was figured out two months ago when Fleming signed the order. The office and the case workers are a joke.
Horrible service for both parties.
Very friendly and helpful and informative staff. They also had a Very clean lobby area. But if you got to the bathroom go before you get there there is not a public bathroom.
