I live in Ohio and my elderly aunt, who recently passed away lived in Michigan. She asked me to not only be executor of her will but also her power of attorney. I agreed, having no idea what I was getting myself into. As her health failed to the point at which she had to go into an assisted living facility and subsequently into a nursing home, things became complicated. Enter our savior, Mr. Dinesh Chawla. We met in 2022. My aunt hired him to assist us. My ignorance of the process of protecting her estate and how to execute my “powers” was intimidating to say the least. We had to file and appeal with medicaid due to a caseworker there who did not follow proper procedures. It was grueling, a total of 9 hours over a period of time including 3 separate hearings. Dinesh blew me away with his doggedness and knowledge. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him dismantle and educate said caseworker. It was as though I could smell the caseworker sweating through the phone during the hearings. Ha! We won! Without Dinesh, we would have lost everything. He is so kind, he cares about every client and treats them like family. Our family will forever be in his debt. I highly recommend him for all your estate planning needs. He is honest and experienced and will not stop working for you!
