Like all public defenders, Mr. Lim is extremely overworked and is at the courthouse from sun up till sun down. At first I was a bit frustrated with lack of return phone calls, and what felt like him not being invested very much. The day of court he was spot on-he had clearly taken into account any and all information I had provided him, he was well spoken and seemed to have a genuine care for people who are willing to help themselves. I can’t imagine how many cases he’s responsible for at a time, but what I do know is he seems to have a very under appreciated position.
