Mercer County – Home
Mercer County Prosecuting Atty in Princeton, West Virginia, has received mixed reviews regarding its handling of domestic violence cases, particularly those involving gun crimes. While some reviewers express disappointment in the office’s treatment of victims and the perceived leniency towards offenders, others appreciate the efforts made by individual attorneys and staff to navigate complex legal situations. Overall, there is a call for more compassion and diligence in addressing the needs of victims and ensuring public safety.
I left a msg for a returned call but never received.
I am extremely disappointed in how this office handled a domestic violence case in which the victims were shot at with a hand gun and also involved a loaded shot gun. This office treated the victims as if they were an inconvenience. They made a deal with the gunman dispite his breaking bond and protective orders. The detective who worked the case had 72 pages of solid evidence. They had a solid case and wanted to tick a quick guilt of. They do not care about victims. They certainly do not care about gun crimes. This gunman was allowed to work in Mercer Mall where one of his victims worked with an ankle bracelet, putting all the patron and employees of the mall at risk. Dispite his stalking of the victims he remained on home confinement
