My family used Paugh for an FPO hearing. In her office she said we definitely had a case and would represent. However come court, she talked to the petitioners attorney, in the hallway in front of the petitioner and came back to me with what I thought were dismissal charges. We get in the courtroom, discuss the custody of our child, I agree to those changes and then it’s over. Come to later find out Paugh did not reveal that the charges were not dismissed and said she thought she was just doing what was best for us. She did not let us decide how we wanted to proceed, she did not defend us or stand up for us. She charged $1,000 an hour and did not support her client. So don’t let her fool you too. In her office she says one thing-in court she will not have your back!
Well the receptionist seemed dumb as ever, she took my name and number AFTER I asked what the consultation fee was and then proceeded to ask me if I was a new client, when I stated “yes” she then said “oh well she’s not taking new clients.” Shouldn’t you ask that first???? If this is any indication of how the law office runs then no thanks!
