Horrible horrible experience! I wish I would have checked his background and reviews before wasting my time with Tom, seeing how there are no reviews shows he’s not any good. I was referred to him among two other attorneys via the Bar Association. He talked a lot of game over our phone conversation, eager and happy to work my case saying I have multiple reasons to sue my Landlord. He told me to build my case and to contact him when I’m finished so we can meet and go over the plan. Once we met he was still interactive and ready, that was until I told him I couldn’t afford to move out of my home (I was saving to purchase a home not rent another) he automatically thought I was broke. Once he heard I didn’t have the funds to move to a different residence his whole demeanor changed. He pushed all my paperwork away stopped listening to me and straight told me I don’t have a case and if I did I could only take it to small claims and after him being payed off I would break even. Completely wasted my time and was extremely rude!!! Little did he know I had at least 20k saved in my savings. I happily spent half of that on a different lawyer, which we just won my case and came out 300k richer. Sorry not sorry Tom, next time don’t pull peoples chains and waste their time, put your judging in your pocket, your greediness and heartlessness gets you nowhere!
