Nicholas Franz represented my ex husband during our divorce. My attorney said she had never worked with anyone so incompetent. Today, I want people to know his level of unprofessional practices and dishonesty. During the end of mediation, Franz agreed to file the paperwork with the state necessary to award me half of my ex husband’s retirement for the time we were married while he worked as a prosecutor. Post divorce, I discovered the papers were never filed, contacted the ex husband who checked with Franz and confirmed my suspicion. It was then proposed by his client that Franz fulfill his obligation to which he declined, stating I needed to contact an attorney and for $8,000 I should be able to have the matter resolved. Honestly, he’s shameful.
