I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Leah Liu and the office of Goldberg Jones. I originally started my case with Miki Hoy, who was absolutely amazing — professional, transparent, and provided me with clear and detailed information. Unfortunately, when Miki took medical leave, my case was transferred to Leah Liu, and that’s when everything fell apart.

Miki (Hoy) Cook is an absolute star, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She never pushed an agenda and sniffed out every trick that opposing counsel tried to play. Throughout the contentious process that included a custody battle and significant property division, Miki kept a level head and was an invaluable resource. For each step of the process, she laid out various potential approaches / responses and the possible repercussions for each. There was never a rushed or rash rebuttal, but rather facts and precedent caselaw that played into our overall master strategy. Her approach of remaining objective and always going high while opposing counsel went low produced quality results. Men will inevitably be the underdog in divorce cases, but Miki knows exactly how to level the playing field. And as much as you think you might know… LISTEN TO MIKI!!!
