UNFORTUNATELY: I experienced a Catastrophic Injury and was Misdiagnosed at two [2] Washington State Hospitals in Lynnwood and Everett. I was taken by Ambulance after I called 911 to the first Hospital and the ER Doctor and Radiologist informed me I “DISLOCATED” my Left Shoulder and suffered a fracture of the Humerus Bone. I was informed, they do NOT have the appropriate Surgical Facilities so they transferred me by Ambulance to the LEVEL 2 TRAUMA CENTER in Everett. The ER Doctor and Radiologist re-confirmed the same Diagnosis. It turned ALL four [4] of these so-called “Professionals” were 100% WRONG! A member of the Orthopedic Surgeon Team showed me the following day my X-Rays and advised me I did NOT have a DISLOCATED SHOULDER. Instead, she informed me I had SHATTERED MY HUMERUS BONE into many many small fragments which CANNOT be Repaired. She advised me I needed a “SHOULDER REPLACEMENT” SURGERY iin which they do NOT offer. Additionally, I was informed by the Orthopedic “EXPERT” that she knew of ONLY ONE [1] qualified Surgeon to perform the appropriate Surgical Procedures in ALL of the Puget Sound Region and provided his contact info. They DISCHARGED AND WISHED ME THE “BEST OF LUCK”…THAT WAS BEYOND INSULTING AND DEVASTATING NEWS!!!!
