I wish public reviews were an option decades ago. I hired Wesley Johnson to represent me in a custody battle back in 1995. My daughter was living with me on a temporary order, but my ex lied and tried to get the case moved to another county. She had her friends sign letters saying, “to the best of my knowledge the girl lives with her mom in Clark County.” Mr. Johnson said that we didn’t need any letters and that it was a ridiculous claim and we would win the case against her to change the venue. When we needed to serve our response to her case, he asked me to serve her the papers. His legal aide said, “I don’t think they are supposed to serve her the legal papers.” He responded, “why not?” She just shrugged and I served her the papers. He then told me that the venue change request was made in Clark County and I didn’t need to show up for that one because he would be there and get it dismissed. The venue change did not get dismissed. I lost custody of my daughter to a drug addict for four years. After four years, I went back to court to fight for custody on grounds of risk to the child. My daughter spent four years living in a druggy environment because of his negligence. I wouldn’t trust this man to snake my toilet.
