Searching for a disability attorney I came across this attorney. We exchanged a few emails and I advised Ms. Burchfield I was needing to start the appeal process and was on a time line. After a week of emails we set a time for me to come to her office. I showed up on time and upon introducing myself I hadn’t barely sat down when she said to me that something I said in my email gave her great concern. She said it was the sentence of me saying, I feel my case could be won on appeal. That was the whole sentence that bothered her. She then proceeded to tell me she doesn’t feel comfortable taking my case and won’t be taking me on as a client. I was floored. This woman had the audacity to make me drive all the way to her office when she already had her mind made up she wasn’t going to be taking me on as a client because of one sentence I said in an email? I told Ms. Burchfield I was extremely disappointed because that was something she could have told me over the phone. She wasted my time and had no problem doing it. I wasn’t in her office but 20 seconds when she advised me of this.
I will attest to all the other 5 star reviews given. Cynthia isn’t only fun to interact with as she has an amazingly Kool personality but further to the point is an absolute kick ass attorney. Above and beyond good as not only does she win your case but keeps you informed the entire way. Many attorneys grace you with arrogance Cynthia graces you with results.
