I hired John for an excessive amount to stand in on a phone call. All of the necessary documentation was completed and filed. All he had to do was talk for probably 15 minutes or less. He first asked for $3,000 to do this. After negotiating we agreed to $1,000 flat rate for the phone call only. The other party didn’t confirm and the hearing never happened. John then made up hours titled “prep work” took my money and ran. There was no prep, all the documents were prepared and we covered everything in a “free” phone consultation. When I inquired about getting my money back he took 85%. He literally did nothing. I have family in law out of state and they were appalled by this situation. There’s two types of attorneys: attorneys to make money and attorneys to help people. John only cares about your money. He’s an unethical, well educated crook.
John Ferguell represented me in my divorce and did a phenomenal and fair job of taking care of my family. He made suggestions that were pragmatic and cost-effective and ultimately saved my retirement for me in the process. He is sensible and knowledgeable and does what he says. Awesome attorney!!
