Tindell Alan J Attorney at Law, located in Kennewick, Washington, specializes in Divorce Law and Family Law. While some reviews highlight concerns regarding his professionalism and communication, several clients appreciate his straightforward approach and dedication to fighting for their interests. Overall, he has received positive feedback from individuals who found him to be knowledgeable and committed to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients.
A brief response to reviews by Jones & PB. PB sounds like he had a criminal case—I don’t do them so he’s not referring to me. Jones has never been a client of mine nor have I ever met him. I did represent his wife and he did not like the outcome of the case. He likes to file bogus ethics claims, though and his ethics claim was completely rejected by the Wash. St. Bar Ass’n.
Alan is extremely unprofessional and does not counsel his clients well. In one interaction I had with him at the courthouse, I was pointing out a discrepancy between what he was telling me and what the actual order said. He slapped my hand away and when I called him out in the courtroom, he went off and the judge had to tell him to stop talking. I e-mailed him in regards to something his client was doing on a Saturday, and boy was that a mistake. Rather than waiting to respond, or responding professionally, Mr. Tindell started degrading me via e-mail. He also advised my ex not to FaceTime his children at all, claiming they “don’t understand FaceTime and his grandchildren are 7 and 3 and stay in the frame at most 15 seconds”… my children are much younger but very much so understand FaceTime and stay in the frame for an entire 10 minute call. When I pointed this out to him, he lost it and threatened to block me from communicating any other way than mail. He does not like to be called out when he is wrong and will lose his temper on you regardless of who is around. His temper clouds his ability to be of good counsel. Review his BAR complaints and watch his conduct in court before you hire him.
Alan has been my lawyer since I was 18, fighting for my daughter. He has always been a good lawyer and will tell you how it is straight up and the the extent of the law. I would recommend him to other people.
