When my mother passed away last year up in Washington, I was facing a situation where I was expected to be the executor of the estate from California, and there was no will or trust. In those first few weeks it was quite overwhelming, and I’m so thankful that I found Lauber Law Group and had a chance to work with Jaclyn Bray. From the beginning, Jacki was so efficient and on top of it. Within a week of meeting her I was appointed by the court, and we were off and running. Estate bank account, property liquidation, selling a house, so many steps along the way and she was able to guide me through each of them with no hiccups with everything done remotely. Thank you Jacki, there is no way I would have made it through this last year without your guidance and expertise.
One thing I don’t tolerate as a client and in this case, an even potential client; is dishonesty and wasting my time. I submitted for a consultation through a website and was contacted by this group, a consultation was set up. I took the time off work, made sure my children had a sitter, and sat at my desk for 39 mins and never received a phone call of any kind. Instead I received a call this morning and was instantly accused of missing my appointment, that the woman “called me,” and “left me a voicemail.” I immediately interrupted the person whom called me and informed them this information was inaccurate that I never received a call, and my voicemail is actually full so they never would have been able to “leave me a message,” as they allegedly claimed. I decided right then and there it was too much a red flag to even proceed to try to continue, I politely explained I wouldn’t need their services as I value my time. If the group wants to argue these facts, I’ll let them, and then follow up with screenshots for proof once my cell records are posted for this contact date.
Jacki Bray is a family law specialist with the Lauber Law Group. She helped me with what was, for me, and incredibly difficult custody issue, and she did it while being a real source of comfort, yet keeping things realistic and in perspective, and those are not easy things to balance. Thank you, Jacki, for being a real person and doing an amazing job.
