Wanda Allen represented my child’s mother in our Juvenile and Domestic Relations custody case. After our initial mediation, which consisted of the Guardian Ad Litem, my child’s mother, Wanda Allen, my lawyer and myself, in which I fully explained that I changed my entire life to raise my son by moving from another state, leaving my job, and proposing to my child’s mother, Wanda Allen still encouraged my child’s mother to proceed with her custody petition. I am deducting (3) stars because Wanda Allen actually allowed my child’s mother to claim that she deserves full custody of our son, based solely off of the mother’s opinion that she believes that I “cannot raise our son, like she can”. Needless to say, my child’s mother lost her full custody petition. Immediately after the ruling was entered, upon exiting the courtroom, I overheard Wanda Allen encouraging my child’s mother to appeal the decision to higher court. Guess what? My child’s mother lost her Circuit Court petition for custody also. In that hearing, the Guardian Ad Litem’s recommendation was ‘Full Physical Custody’ to me!!! In his closing statement, he explained to the judge that he felt that my child’s mother only wanted ‘control’. I am deducting an additional star, due to Wanda Allen not encouraging my childs mother to withdraw her petition after learning that she had no grounds for full custody.
