Mr. Burks was the GAL assigned in a custody hearing involving my children 5+ years ago. Let me start by saying the best interests of a child/children SHOULD be Mr. Burks highest priority, however, sadly it is not! He is EXTREMELY bias. He stood in court and lied saying he had spoken to me and been to my home when in fact he had not. I hadn’t even met the man prior to court. I left multiple messages and never got a response back and when I was lucky enough to catch him to talk to him he was rude and acted as if he didn’t want to hear from me. My children’s donor he spoke so highly of and suggested my children live with was busted for drugs and had a no contact order from cps. Donor has been MIA for 8 years now. Just goes to show Mr. Burke could careless about children and their safety.
Extremely rude and condescending.
Awful experience. I don’t know anything about the law but I couldn’t even ask a question without immediately being cut off. I was in tears I was so upset and he continued to be extremely rude and degrading.
