I’m sure the other lawyers at this office are great but do not retain McCarthy as a lawyer. He has zero clue on what he’s doing and will withhold information from you only for you to find out years later and then ask you to PAY him MORE to fix what he messed up.
I was left feeling nothing less than robbed. I hired Dennis McCarthy and he was the most unprofessional attorney I’ve ever worked with. He charged a flat fee for a show cause for child support. I was found guilty and sentenced to jail because my attorney, the one I hired to represent me, hired to prepare for trial. He did nothing! The ONLY thing he did was to call and make sure he was paid his money. After that he did nothing!! And further blamed me for him not having material be never asked for, in fact when I tried to ask what documents he wanted me to get him he said nothing and chopped it up to “it will be fine, DCSE will have everything”. When he showed up late after being called into court, he sat down and made it clear he was going to ‘wing it’. He failed to properly represent me and failed to look out for what was in my best interests and direct me towards what was going to give me the best outcome. He did nothing more but take me and my families money. Absolutely shameful to see this arrogance continue to prevail.
