It’s always hard when reading reviews of lawyers online because there is always two sides and often the reviews are polar opposites. Additionally it’s not appropriate to broadcast the case details online especially when it involves kids that could one day read these types of reviews. What I can say is that when you walk into court and even opposing council refers to your lawyer as a “living legend” in the family court system in Virginia then it’s a good sign, or it’s just Carolyn Grimes. She is the most knowledgeable lawyer in this space that I’ve come across and will be direct with you in explaining the process and system. If you have kids it’s even better working with her because she really does take their best interests to heart when fighting for the best situation for your family. Honestly you really can’t go wrong here and I would hire her any day of the week and for all of my legal needs if I could.
