I was referred by attorney Paul J Smith to Raine Minns law firm. After my initial call, Raine called me for 40 mts for 2 days and said she will take my case and asked for specific court documents to be uploaded to a link that her assistant sends ( this is even before she signed up as my lawyer and even before I paid for the lawyer) I asked her to send me link for payment and file as my lawyer. She hesitated, but wanted my sealed court records. When i asked her to file as my lawyer so i can send the documents, again there was hesitation. It is wrong to insist on getting a email copy of sealed confidential documents from me when they dont want to file as my lawyer.
My interaction with the law firm was cordial and pleasant enough. The women seemed professional and well informed. I initially reached out to inquire about a quote and several months later after gaining the funds I reached back out to her office and left a message. She then called back out that day at 6:25 which I missed. She then reached back out to me on Tuesday at 5:30 while I was making dinner. The voicemail I received was this. (Forgive the inconsistencies it was translated from voicemail. )
I am most appreciative of Rain. I am in Australia and couldn’t find a lawyer in Texas to help with our case. Most law firms dismissed us considering the size of the case. However, Rain and her team were there to hear us out and genuinely care. Justice and protecting their people is in their blood. I couldn’t ask for more and am very grateful.
