Absolutely ignorant, rude employees and attorney. My grandparents used Gossage for several years for their wills and needed an update due to the firm’s negligence to incorporate a Supplemental Needs Trust into the will. The firm created the SNT but failed to add it for use by the beneficiary. Thankfully, this error was caught by their financial planner and another attorney involved. My grandparents requested that our family be involved since they are 90 years old with hearing issues and inability to fully understanding the changes to be made. They requested ON THEIR OWN that we handle much of their estate planning and financial planning on their behalf from this point forward. This has not been a problem with their financial planner or other attorney who his handling some items for our family. Carey Nickels, the receptionist, was extremely unprofessional and rude on the phone. When Kim Gossage called my grandmother, she was equally as rude–a noted change from earlier conversations. We just found out from another attorney that Kim Gossage was completely incorrect (or chose to blatantly lie?) about it “being illegal to have family in the room when making changes to estate documents/wills.” Look elsewhere for estate planning and don’t buy into their deceptive, “kill you with kindness” initial demeanor. Such a shame an elder law attorney would handle their elderly clients in this manner. As with many attorneys, they are all about the initial money grab.
Mrs. Garrity was very helpful and listened to our questions.
This firm did my revocable trust . I recently needed a new certificate for the trust and they quickly and graciously provided the needed form electronically
