I have been a client of Elaine Ashley’s since 2020. She has represented me on 3 different occasions. I got my papers in the mail that the dad was filing for full custody, my heart sank. It was in North Carolina where I lived for 4 years. I had just moved back to Virginia in 2019, starting a new job, suffering postpartum with a 1yo child, and being scared to death of the father. I didn’t know one lawyer or court official in North Carolina. I got Mrs. Ashley’s name from a family attorneys in Virginia. I made an appointment with Mrs. Ashley and let me just say, what a huge relief she was! She was honest with me and told me what was possible and what wasn’t. She gave me the best advice and told me both sides of what can/could happen in the courtroom. As time went on, she prepped me for court and she always pumped me with confidence. In court, she painted a picture for the judge showing them that I was a great mother and she represented me in a way I couldn’t even see myself at that time. Since day one to the last day of court, when she said her closing statement, I knew she was the best decision I had ever made. She’s so sweet and caring however, when you put her in that court room, she’s force to be reckoned with! When you know the judge holds the fate of your child’s future in their hands you want Elaine Ashley on you side!
