Greg Franklin will make sure he nickel and dimes you. I called to let him know I am canceling the contract with my surrogate. A quick maybe 5 minute conversation. He made sure to keep me on the phone and ask me questions long enough to be able to bill me for it when he was the one asking me question. Never even said I was being billed for that or I would’ve hung up. When I received my refund from the unused retainer sure enough he had billed me for another hour even though he was the one asking me questions. I’d be leary and keep track of all charges. He was the lawyer I chose for my surrogate which I had to pay the retainer for. So although he wasn’t my direct lawyer he was my surrogates lawyer.
My son was adopted out of Foster Care on November 17th (National Adoption Day).
