Website says free consultation in several places. Tried discussing my case and the attorney(?) hung up with 3 minutes and said to call Legal Aid. I was quoted $3500 for their help with only 13:00-2 minute summary of the case and not thoroughly even discussing if what I was trying to do was likely to be successful if I used them, which is why I tried discussing other options (such as self representation). Really need to remove the “free consultation” from website.
I really thought I had the right attorney when I met Kristie Black first time we talked about payment was great after payment no communication,which resulted in a missed court date by the time we spoke the court date had passed an the other attorney I had that actually worked the case withdrawn under the impression Kristie Black was my active attorney and when I finally got a call back after request my money back she withdrew from the case altogether an took my retainer, would not recommend to anyone
I am a father of three girls. All I want is to be able to be a dad to my girls. Due to the fact that their mother and I are no longer together, she is doing everything she can to use the court system to help her keep our kids away from me. I hired john buchmiller and associates to help me remain in my kids lives. Of course like them all, they told me they could help. They offer a $2500 upfront fee, then $500 monthly afterwords. I don’t think they expected me to be as knowledgeable about my case, I simply needed them to assist me with the way attorneys speak. I had everything presented to them to win my case, especially after my children’s mother removed them from our home as well as from Nevada without saying anything to me. Michael Jacobs was the attorney they assigned to my case and literally did nothing for my case. It was like pulling teeth to even meet with him in person. When I finally did meet with him at his office at buchmiller and associates, I presented more evidence that my children’s mother is withholding our children from me, he told me he would file contempt charges against her and he never did. After that meeting in December, I never heard back from again. No call back , no text response, nothing. I’ll never forget that he told me, “ I didn’t take your money, buchmiller did.” As if he didn’t benefit from the funds I spent. They also seem to favor the judge on my case or they are intimidated by him. If you are seeking an attorney save your time and money, I recommend skipping this attorney service.
